SLL Update for April 7

Dear Shoreline Little League Players and Families,

As the weather turns nicer, we were all hoping that the baseball and softball season would be able to start soon. I'm sure many of you are wondering what happens now that Governor Inslee has announced that traditional learning will not resume this school year. In order to help flatten the curve, students will continue their schooling from the comforts of their home. We, along with everyone else, are disappointed about this announcement because we know how much the kids look forward to this time of year when they are out on the fields, playing ball, meeting new friends and running off extra energy from the day. We also know that the announcement made by the Governor is the right thing to do.

So where do we go from here?

Next week the Shoreline Little League Board of Directors will be meeting to determine the best course of action. At that time we will communicate to all families how we will proceed and what options are available. Please be patient while we prepare and expect to hear from us around April 16th with the next steps as it relates to the Shoreline Little League season.

Please stay safe and healthy,

John Lynch
President
Shoreline Little League
