Dear Shoreline Little League Families,

King County has entered the Phase 2 of Washington’s Safe Start Plan, which allows for small groups to gather outdoors. With Phase 2 in place, Shoreline Little League is pleased to offer a fun, engaging, safe Summer program. We will be hosting “diamond skills” type clinics at Hamlin Park throughout the month of July. If demand is high, we may add additional locations in the city. Our first clinic will be on Wednesday, July 8th at 6pm. Signup is limited to 24 players – 12 per field – and walk ups will not be permitted. We are following the recommendations for safety that have been set by the CDC, State of Washington, Little League International, and the City of Shoreline Parks Department.

When registering you will need to fill out the Little League Medical Release form and read the SLL Return to Play Safety Plan for the Summer Ball events. Please note that if you, your player, or anyone in your household has any signs of illness listed in the safety plan, stay home. In addition, as listed in the safety plan, all players and volunteers will be required to wear a face covering and abide by distancing requirements.

The goal of the Summer Ball events are to have a little fun while doing activities that are centered around baseball and softball. We hope that the events will be a small break for the players and allow them to change up their routines a little while enjoying themselves.

Registration for Summer Ball events are on an individual basis for each date. In order to meet the safety and health recommendations, we are only able to offer these events to players who registered for AA, AAA, Majors, Intermediate and Junior divisions of baseball and softball. In the hopes to include all members of our community, regardless of cost, we are offering these events free of charge. If you are able to make a donation, of any amount, to help offset the costs of the field rentals, cleaning supplies and equipment needs, it would be greatly appreciated and you may do so through the SLL PayPal account.
