Get involved with your Little Leaguer's league!
From
Little League University
, some thoughts on how to be involved with your child's baseball or softball experience:
A Guide to Start Volunteering – Why Little League® Parents Should Get Involved Now
Each year, a new group of parents joins the Little League® family, as their children get set to begin their baseball or softball journey, making new friends, and having fun along the way. And, just like players need a year or two of Tee Ball or Coach Pitch to learn the game, finding a way for parents to be introduced to volunteering is just as important. For those new Little League families, we encourage you to get involved in your local league as soon as possible because it is important to start learning how your league operates at the very beginning of your Little League involvement. Being updated and in-the-know are keys in developing a positive Little League experience for you and your Little Leaguer®.

Shoreline Little League loves volunteers! From the dad that manages the whole league's equipment, to the grandpa that umps behind the plate 3 games a week, to the mom that steps up to coach her kid's t-ball team, everyone can make Shoreline Little League a great experience. Do you have a knack for getting people organized? Think about helping manage the volunteers! Love a well-prepped field? Let us know you can groom a few times a week. Maybe you're new to all of this and have no idea where to start. Well, we run a concession stand at two different fields, and they always need someone behind the counter to sell people snacks!
If any of these sound like something you could handle, or if you have other ideas,
let us know
