Baseball Registration - 2024

For the 2024 season we will use Individual Player Assessments to form teams in the AAA and Majors divisions (9-12 year olds)

Assessments will be held on Saturday 2/3 and Sunday 2/4, with a makeup date of 2/10. Head coaches will then hold a draft to facilitate team formation. We will provide more specifics as the season approaches.
Please register your player for the division that is most appropriate based on their age (if you have an 8 or 9 year old that you intend to have play in a more competitive division, please register them for a drafted division).
Children registered for AA or below will NOT participate in player assessments or be considered for the drafted divisions (AAA and Majors).
Practices at the beginning of the season 3x/week, replaced by games as the season progresses (also 2-3x/week, but not necessarily on the same days practices were scheduled, practices in addition to games when possible)
Field assignments and days of practice/games are dependent on the coach's availability and field availability and we are not able to provide specifics on day/time of practices or field location until registration closes and we form our teams. (the league is scheduling fields for teams across all divisions/age groups serving over 500 kids per season)
We will do our best to honor coach or teammate request, which can be made through a link included in your registration confirmation email-teammate or coach requests made any other way will not be honored. There are no teammate or coach requests allowed for the upper divisions (AAA and above). Coaches and player requests in the AA division will be considered, but to ensure a level playing field, some requests may not be honored. (ex. 3rd grade teams vs. 1st/2nd grade teams).
A, AA and AAA teams will play their games on fields within the Shoreline and LFP city boundaries. Majors and above divisions will play on fields within the greater Seattle Metro (but mostly within Shoreline and North Seattle)
Intermediate, Junior and Senior division team formation will be determined when player numbers are known. These teams will begin two weeks of practice and then divided into different teams. In the past years, we have fielded limited teams in these divisions.
Only equipment required is a glove, baseball pants and tennis shoes or cleats.
Optional equipment: helmet, tee ball bat, ball. (these items provided by the league to share, but if you prefer your own can purchase separately)
Included in your registration fee will be a baseball hat and team t-shirt.

Refund & Cancellation Policy:

· If cancelling registration before team announcement or assessments: Cancellation fee of 25% of cost of registration.

· If cancelling after team announcement or assessments: Cancellation fee of 50% of cost of registration.

· If cancelling after first practice starts: NO REFUNDS***.

· If purchasing an additional jersey, the cost is not refundable after team announcements.

· If the season is cancelled by the league before the season begins each registrant will be given the option of a refund, donating part or all of their registration fee to the league, or receiving a raincheck until the next spring season.

· If the season is cancelled after the season begins then the registrant will be given a prorated refund based on the number of games the team has played minus the cost of the uniforms.

***Extenuating circumstances will be taken under consideration by the Shoreline Little League Board.
