New Board Members Needed

Dear Shoreline Little League Families,

The school year has begun and it is time for Shoreline Little League to look toward the future. We are starting to think about the 2021 Spring Season and move forward with the hopes of being able to get out on the fields next March.

The annual general assembly meeting for all families will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 6:30pm. At the general assembly meeting we vote on the pricing for the coming season’s registration, give a report on the state of the league, the financial report and vote in the Board of Directors for the coming year. This meeting will be held virtually this year and a link will be sent out by September 29 along with a link for all families to vote for the 2020-2021 Board of Directors.

In order for Shoreline Little League to continue, we need your help.

We need your help in order for there to be a season next year, as we are looking for volunteers to join our Board of Directors. The more people we have to assist with programs, the less work any one individual has to take on. A few of our current, and long-time, board members will be leaving this year. There are a few key positions we are looking to fill, plus adding a few positions that can pair with other members to make the workload more manageable. The Board of Directors meets monthly, with some additional meetings in smaller groups in the months leading up to the start of the season.

Please click this link to indicate your interest in joining the Board of Directors. Volunteers can be parents, grandparents, friends, neighbours or anyone who has an interest in helping Shoreline Little League continue in our community. Please submit your interest in joining the board by September 27.
